Terms of Service

1. About the Service

DYB Ready (the "Portal" or the "Service") is a web application operated by DYB Academy ("DYB", "we", "us", or "our") that provides teacher-training content, teaching resources, and evaluation tools for DYB Academy teachers, trainees, team leaders, and administrators. By creating an account or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

The Portal is intended for DYB Academy staff and people invited to participate in DYB Academy programs. To use the Service you must create an account with accurate information, either with an email address and password or by signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • share your account with others or access another person's account without permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' data, or the systems that host the Service;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • copy, scrape, redistribute, or publicly share training materials or other content from the Portal outside of DYB Academy;
  • submit false or misleading information in training records or evaluations; or
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Training Content and Intellectual Property

The training materials available through the Portal — including videos, readings, quizzes, evaluation templates, and the design of the Portal itself — are the property of DYB Academy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your training and work with DYB Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

5. Content You Submit

You may submit content to the Portal, such as evaluation comments, grades, and signatures. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant DYB Academy a license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service and to maintain training and evaluation records. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit is accurate and appropriate.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described there.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free of errors or interruptions.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including if you violate these Terms or if your role with DYB Academy ends. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content of the Portal is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DYB Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
